Artist in Residence and Workshop for plastic and visual artists, of any age or nationality. There will be a maximum of 20 resident artists. Large areas of workshops (painting, ceramic, sculpture, serigraphy, lithography, engraving, photography and multimedia, live performance), and places to outdoor work.
In addition to the personal work -principal activity during the meeting-, artists may participate in other Activities:
- workshops of painting, photography, ceramic and sculpture, Perfomance, Live speaking…, with the participation of renowned guest artists.
- Organize a cultural network for cooperation, exchange of information, and the organization of exhibitions and events. Meetings with local and guest artists. Artistic Visits.
- Awards selection (Some art collectors, have committed provisions for acquiring works among the artists participating in the meeting.
- The participating artists will exhibit their works in Portugal and Spain
- During the previous year meeting were represented artists from Portugal, Spain, Holland, Honduras, Japan, Britain, France, Poland, Corea del Sur: Joan Llacer, Olga Barbosa, Alvaro Valls, Coco Moya, Irene Gª. Inés, Frederik Takkenberg, Ángel G. Gaitán, Marta Sequeiros, Julia Pomar, Mª Ángeles Elías, Nieves Luengo, Keiko Takanashi, Luis Javier Gayá, Maider Bilbao, Marek Sobczyk, Ryoichi Noguchi, Cristina Poppe, Maria João Brito e Cunha, Nettie Burnett, José Antonio Pajares, Regina Rubio, Jung Yeun Park. Some artists, upon request, may work as teachers in the Courses of painting, photography and sculpture to be held coinciding with the meeting. Participating artists may attend these courses.
